CUCUMBER or TEA BAGS
Two of my favourite ways to reduce dark under eye circles and bags is to use either cucumber of tea bags as a DIY remedy. I usually always have both ingredients on hand, therefore making this remedy, quick and easy with no additional shopping needed.
CUCUMBER: I am sure that you have seen and heard of this simple method, but if you designate the time to actually try it, you will rave about it too! All that you need to do is place one slice of cucumber on each eye and relax for around 10 minutes. No need to wash off the cucumber juice afterwards, but you can if you like.
TEABAGS: Soak two tea bags in cold water and then place one teabag on each eye for 10 minutes. Remove and gently rinse the tea off of your face.
You will feel fresh, rejuvenated and the dark under eye circles and bags should subside.
Lifestyle changes to help eliminate under eye bags and dark circles include:
- drink more water
- get more sleep
- drink less alcohol
- consume less sugar
- consume less caffeine
- use moisturizers that have avocado oil, Vitamin K and Vitamin E listed as ingredients
