EXFOLIATE WITH WALNUTS
Walnuts have a number of health benefits including; high in omega-3, fibre, protein and minerals such as potassium, magnesium and copper! However when applied topically the oils that are release help to hydrate, cleanse and firm the skin, while also reducing the appearance of scars and improve blood circulation. Walnut oil is said to help fight wrinkles as well as can be a remedy for fungal infections, such as athletes foot.
This scrub is also a perfect exfoliant for hands and feet.
All you need is:
- 1/4 cup shelled walnuts
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp honey
Add all ingredients into a food processor or blended and blend on a low speed, creating a fine textured scrub. In the shower or over the sink, work the mixture thoroughly over your skin for a couple of minutes, making sure to target areas with more dry skin than other including feet, hands and elbows. Rinse with warm water and enjoy your glowing, hydrated skin.
